Korea Express appoints Lee Hyeon-Woo, Lee Gwan-Hoon as president

Korea Express has appointed Lee Hyeon-Woo (the former head of its Busan Branch Office) and Lee Gwan-Hoon (the incumbent president of CJ Corp.) as its representative director (president).

Since he entered Korea Express in 1983, President Lee Hyon-Woo has taken various posts as head of its branch office in Donghae, Incheon and Busan as well as head of TPL and Transport-Harbor Operation. He is recognized as a logistics expert with on-site experiences, holding Ph.D degree in logistics, versed in the whole ranges of logistics field from harbors, transport through third party logistics. He is thorough-going in business with an emphasis on on-site operation and marketing, and is understood to have a warm heart of human nature.

Lee Gwan-Hoon assumed various posts with CJ Group: president of CJ Cable Net (now renamed CJ Hello Vision) and CJ Media. Starting with CJ personnel management team through marketing-planning team, he took a head-post of management service in CJ. Since he took office of president of CJ Corp. in 2011, he has strengthened its support system aimed at achieving business target of each division in CJ group. Possessing professional knowledge in CJ group business as a whole, he is assessed the most competent person to maximize synergy effect through his liberal mind and rational leadership.
